"Nostre Seigne" est la traduction provençale de Notre Seigneur. Il s’y trouvait jadis une statue de Jésus-Christ et c’est ainsi que les Aixois de l’époque baptisèrent cette voie Rue NOSTRE SEIGNE.

Aujourd’hui, il n’y a plus de statues mais le nom de la rue demeure.
